John is a former President and Shareholder at Adler, Pollock & Sheehan P.C., John has received numerous awards and recognition for his outstanding work that spans more than 40 years. He has consistently been recognized by Best Lawyers of America and several other organizations as one of the top attorneys in the country.
John is the Managing Trustee of the Papitto Opportunity Connection (POC), a private family foundation in December 2020, which exists to transform the lives of underprivileged communities by investing in those who are committed to creating systemic change.
John is also CEO of Iylon Precision Oncology LLC, an organization at the forefront of precision oncology. Through the analysis of genomic, pathology, laboratory, and radiology reports, a group of experts in the field are providing customized treatment recommendations to oncologists and their cancer patients, to provide better outcomes.
John Tarantino Donates $1 Million to Pancreatic Cancer Research
The John and Pat Tarantino Foundation was born out of the touching story of the late Patrice Tarantino’s (wife of John Tarantino) battle with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Pat was diagnosed in April 2021 and passed away on April 16, 2022.
Pat was treated by oncologist, Howard Safran, MD, Chief of Hematology/Oncology at the Lifespan Cancer Institute. John, very grateful for the care his wife received, and he often spoke with Pat about wanting to support Dr. Safran’s research and committed $1 million dollars to his work. He said, “Nothing would make me happier than to be alive and hear Dr. Safran tell me that Stage 4 pancreatic cancer is no longer a death sentence.”
His 2023 TEDx talk “Redemption” becomes #1 in the world with 20 million views
John Tarantino said that when he was asked to do a TEDx talk, he didn’t even know what a TEDx talk was. One year later, his talk, “Redemption Stories” became the #1 TEDx Talk for the year 2023 with 20 million views.

Forbes Morocco – On a Mission to Change Cancer Treatment Forever

Understanding the power of hope and positivity, even in the most challenging of times, John and Pat decided to go all in on making a difference for others. They sold their family home and, combined with the cash proceeds from Pat’s life insurance policies, they donated every penny to cancer research.
John has also established a foundation in Pat’s honor since her passing – The John and Pat Tarantino Charitable Foundation:
